Transitional Leadership

The reason I left you in Crete was that you might straighten out what was left unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you. – Titus 1:5 (NIV)

What does a church do when the pastor leaves to take a new assignment or retires?  What does a church do when a pastor leaves due to unfavorable circumstances? What does a church do when church members are in conflict? The church needs to seek transitional leadership during times of difficulty and confusion.  A transitional pastor would give the church time to heal and seek God’s direction to determine their focus and purpose as individuals and as a body of believers. Acting as both a coach and counselor, EGS works with churches and their leadership to evaluate and coordinate efforts to move the church toward a healthy growth and unity.
